Meet Mark Wilson
Sales Manager for Eastern Canada

Those lucky enough to deal with Mark Wilson know that he’s a man of many and varied interests, just the sort of person we’re happy to have in our O’Reilly family. Raised in Paris, Ontario ("the prettiest town in Canada"), Mark manages retail sales in Eastern Canada out of his home office in midtown Toronto.

Professionally, Mark is a good fit for our team. Not only does he enjoy learning about and building computers and home networks, but for years he worked at various jobs for Chapters, a large bookseller in Canada with locations nationwide. He began his bookselling career in the fiction department while studying Molecular Biology at the University of Guelph, served as Merchandise Manager in a Toronto store, and then moved to the Special Orders Department of Chapters Online. "After some time spent managing the Special Orders Department, I was eventually hired as Computer Books Merchandiser at Chapters Online due to my interest in and knowledge of computers and the Web," he explains. O’Reilly hired him from that job in March 2001.

Over the coming year, he either plans to learn or improve his golf, swimming, cooking and computer programming skills. The way he manages his territory, we know he’s up to any task he sets for himself!
