Meet Rhonda Dusch
Customer Relations Representative

A three-year veteran of our Accounts Receivable Department, Rhonda Dusch knows how to function in our large O’Reilly family. At home, she was number 16 in a family of 17 children, the daughter of Missionary parents assigned to Mexico. Born in Nicolas Bravo in the state of Chihuahua, Rhonda grew up in church. “When you’re a preachers kid, your life is surrounded by volunteer work,” she says. “Making sure the hungry are fed and clothed and that they have something for Christmas. I continued this into my adult life.”

Perhaps that’s why she was attracted to jobs in a retirement community and a church, among other places, before she came to O’Reilly. Three years ago, after a temp agency assigned her to us, we hired Rhonda for an open position as a Customer Relations Representative.

In her spare time, she pursues her real passion: acting. When she won an all star cast award at a High School district competition in Texas, Rhonda caught the acting bug. Now, she gets work as a movie extra whenever she can. “There’s nothing like getting up at ‘0-dark: 30’ and sitting for 14 hours a day for 30 minutes of excitement to get paid peanuts,” she says, tongue in cheek. “But, there’s just something about being on the inside to see how things work, get glimpses of famous actors and meet interesting people, that gets your blood pumping and makes the long hours worthwhile.”

Married for more than seven years to John Dusch, Rhonda has begun a family of her own—a blue heeler named Leroy, and a red heeler mix they call Comanche. “I’m such a proud mother,” she says, adding, “I need some real children don’t I?”
